Supported setup method
Mozilla Thunderbird supports automatic email configuration.
Step-by-step Thunderbird setup
- Open Mozilla Thunderbird
- Click Add Mail Account
- Enter:
- Your name (display name)
- Email address
- Email password
- Click Continue
- Thunderbird will automatically configure all settings
No manual server entry is required.
If Thunderbird auto-setup fails
If automatic setup does not work:
- Click “Try manual setup”
- Use the manual server settings provided in the Manual Setup article
